Leanna is a talented and versatile singer from the Dundalk area. Leanna has been singing since she could speak. She has completed all the Royal Irish Academy Musical Theatre examinations in Voice, all with distinctions and is now a qualified singing teacher.

        Leanna sang solo in the Waterfront Theatre in Belfast with the Cross Border Orchestra of Ireland and also sang solo with them in The Playhouse Theatre in Derry City. She won a High Achiever’s Award from the Royal Irish Academy for her results in her Grade 6 Voice exam. This award was sponsored by Permanent TSB and recognises outstanding students throughout the country and therefore she was invited to sing in their awards ceremony in Ballyshannon in Donegal in 2005.

         Leanna is an active member of Dundalk’s Stage One New-Musical Group since 2006. She has played the following leading roles with S.O.N.G: Cosette in Lès Miserablès in 2007, Emma Carew in Jekyll & Hyde in 2010, Svetlana Sergievsky in Chess in 2011, Queen Elizabeth I in The Pirate Queen in 2013, Meg in Little Women The Musical in November 2013, Johanna in Sweeney Todd in February 2015 and Glinda in Wizard of Oz in 2017.

         Leanna has performed at numerous weddings, including singing 'The Prayer' at her own wedding, along with a friend Brendan Cleary. The performance was recorded and put on YouTube where it has now received almost 40,000 views.
